The most unlucky day in 2009.

Indeed.

My hormone level didn't fluctuate finally
because I was feeling the same all day -
extremely down to the max.

Got up early this morning to get my passport done.
Mom grumbled all the way and of course spoilt my day.
I was already in a bad mood of the timetable arrangement for sem 2.
I had two classes that crashed
so I had no other way but to change one of the classes to night.
Okay actually I was the one to blame for that.
Was slacking during the whole sem break
and lazy to check the time for the classes before I registered.

Went out with the boyfriend after I got my new IC and passport.
Planned to watch Avatar at TGV
but all the shows available were full.
Where's my Lady Luck?
Then the boyfriend joked and asked why didn't I book the tickets earlier in a
doesn't-sound-like-joking kind of tone.
I was having such a shitty mood by then,
he blamed me like that
of course I got angry la.
Add on to all the results, timetable that was unsettled at that time and the mom problem,
I got extremely frustrated
and the next minute I frigging cried wtf.
I forgot when was the last time I cried in front of somebody
but it's totally an unusual thing for a person like me
unless I am really touched or sad or angry and stuff.

So the boyfriend sum tong
and brought me to Ipoh Parade to try our luck.
Avatar is available so we watched it at GSC.
After that we went to Hilltop for dinner.
Just when I thought my day has gotten better
with the chicken chop rice and grilled fish on the table,
I couldn't find my pink Vincci wallet wtf.
So we went back to the cinema
and fortunately the anene who cleans the cinema found my wallet.
My IC and stuff were still there
but all the money was frigging gone.
Heartache, man.

Such a lousy day.
Went home with red eyes and my makeup smudged.
Dad was shocked and asked what happened
but I didn't answer.
I don't need another round of lecture to end my pathetic day.

I now have no money to go for new year countdown.
Might as well stay at home, watch new year programmes/concerts
and countdown alone.
Maybe with a few bottles of beer.
That sounds at least a tad better.

Update.

There must be something wrong with the hormone level
as I had pretty crazy mood swings throughout the day.
Had tonnes of chocolate to perk myself up.
Luckily chocolate still helps. :)

Almost everyone went back to their uni during this weekend.
Only those studying in foreign countries left.
I feel a little guilty enjoying life here
while all my coursemates are already back to the hell.
Maybe it is time for me to get everything done.
Plane tickets for next sem checked.
Bus tickets checked.
Course registration checked.
Left the timetable and fees for sem 2.
Oh ya,
I guess I need to get another swimsuit that covers up more flesh
because there are only 4 chinese females in my course including myself,
and two of them are super shy
so I think they will wear like the malays during swimming lessons
and the other one is from China
who only wears bikini.

but she never shave her underarms.
Urgh.

Anyways,
am waiting for the new year countdown now
with the sis and the boyfriends.

Went to Genting Highlands with sis,

Anyhow the tickets were still worth it.

We went outdoor again after our dinner

and found it so chi gik to get ourselves frozen in the strong wind.

I couldn't stop myself from shivering.

Sis even went for the swing in the air thing.

I was like OMG. Are you crazy? So cold yet you go swing in the air ah?

It was so romantic everywhere because of the mist.

It was like being in a huge playground filled with large amount of dry ice.

Went back to the apartment early due to the numb hands and legs.

We stayed at Ria apartment

and I swear I never saw any apartment uglier than it.

The building was so old you wouldn't want to even step into it.

There were rumours about the place being haunted

but luckily we didn't meet any of them that night.

Had a great time fooling around and entertaining ourselves in the apartment.

The next day was short

because we woke up at 11 something in the morning.

Went clubbing on Saturday night at Barroom.

The place was shit crowded

but I enjoyed myself 'cause great friends were around. :D

Played Truth Or Dare

and discovered some new juicy gossip. :D

Left at almost 2A.M.,

went yum cha nearby to continue to blow water.

Another wedding dinner.

Am back from grandma's this evening.

Attended an uncle's wedding dinner,

Kimchi!

Back from the crazy KL trip with my beloved SS.
Had a great time teasing and chatching up with each other.
Took 2 days of japanese and korean food,
Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme.
A little crazy, I think.

Anyway,
it was my first time trying out korean food
and its first impression to me was
KOREAN FOOD IS CRAZILY SPICY.
No joke.
Even their kimchi.

On our way back to Ipoh after having our supper at Kampar,
we hit a cow on the road WTH.
There were like 3 cows running to the main road all of a sudden,
and we did not have time to stop the car.
It was already nearly 12.30 midnight
so we dare not go down and check on the cow.
Jiji's car is spoilt but luckily the engine could still function.
Our faces were all pale white all the way back, I swear.
Totally freaked out okay.
Don't know how's the cow now.

The three-weeks exam period is finally over.
Was struggling like mad especially during the last few days.
Everyone was already in holiday mood then,
although the last few papers were the most torturing of all.

Anyway, I am back in Ipoh now!
Nothing has changed
except for the KFC outlet in Bercham.
It is now in burning red
which reminds me of Air Asia.

The standing fan in my room is gone,
replaced by an antique fan WTH.
There's wireless at home now.

Last time when I was home for the one-week holiday,
it felt like waking up from a dream.
I was in Sabah in the dream, and the next moment I woke up in my room.
This time,
it feels like coming home after a long long trip.
Now my bedroom doesn't have the scent that belongs to me anymore.
My bedsheet, my pillows, my blanket,
they don't have the usual smell that they usually have all the while before I went to Sabah.
I am so gonna bring that scent back to my room
so it is complete as MY room.
LOL.

Am going to visit some form six teachers in Sam Tet tomorrow morning.

My dear cinema.

First day of it releasing.
Just done with this week's exams
so went for it with coursemates to destress a tad bit. :)

Overall it is not bad.
Worth watching but not as gan jiong as The Day After Tomorrow.
There were only tsunamis and earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
But there's something new like the arks la.
Quite interesting.
Plus the effects of the disasters were awesome.
I was like swearing throughout the movie, man.
There were some scenes that makes felt like crying out loud.
You know, those like when the son knows his dad has to die
but couldn't help and the dad just want the son to be safe
and they say I love you to each other in tears kind of scenes.
I hate to watch all these scenes coz they make me emotional
but disaster movies would be incomplete without them.
I love all those scenes at the same time what the hell.

The cinema was so full we had to get separate seats.
So there's one uncle on my left and one auntie beside me.
I wonder is every elder watch movie in such a serious mode.
They were completely silent throughout the movie
except when the auntie complaint about some guy kicking her seat.
So sien can die.

Anyway, a great movie, though.

Surprisingly, it was good!

Fyi, I am not a sushi person.
My closest friends all know about that.
No matter how many times they advise/lure/force me,
I would say NO! and continue to sip my green tea.
I have totally no idea where did the courage or curiosity pop out of,
my hand automatically reached for one of the plates on the conveyor belt,
and took a bite without hesitation.

I guess I was too hungry atm.
Haha.
Oh well, it was so satisfying I swear!
Then I began to try some other types of sushi
but I still dare not try the raw ones.
One step at a time.
Maybe someday I would have the guts to try the raw salmons. :)

Snakes!

Am currently doing lab reports on marine reptiles and mammals.
Done with the turtles, now dealing with sea snakes.
Snake is really a disgusting animal.
As I was searching though Google Images to find pictures of sea snakes
because oh hell I gotta draw one of the specimens,
I had goosebumps, seriously,
and the urge of clicking on the red button
on the top right hand side of the page was so strong.

Called back home in the morning because uncle and grandma is now in Ipoh.
Chatted with my aunt
and she was amazed by the fact that I can actually cook,
even though they are only canned food.
She was like 'Oh my. How do you know how to cook canned food?'
Me replied 'Need to heat it only mah.'
Aunt 'Wah, how come you turn into such lady-ish already?'
Me 'Ah gim, it's just canned fooooooood.'
SWEAT.

Now that I realise, a month later I will be on my way home.
Phew.
Time does flies huh.

I know my blog was completely dead in the past few weeks.
Laziness and those slacking have already started to kick in long ago.
Finals are near and assignments still halfway done.
Have no idea,
I can have my textbook on my laps
but not bothered to even open the freaking book and read a single sentence in the text,
and just have my eyes glued to the laptop screen for the whole freaking day.
Holycrap.

Went out a lot lately.
Downloaded a lot of stuff lately.
And addicted to Boys Like Girls lately, once again.
The new album is such a bomb!

Pesta Tanglung was disappointing.
Seats were too little, the sound system was kinda bad,
and the performances, GAH, SamTet is a whole lot better in Dragon Dance and stuff.
Anyway, went to 1Borneo for a movie before we went to the pesta.
A Perfect Getaway.
Another disappointing piece.
Those bloody scenes were like so-so,
but pity me, Phong was sitting next to me.
She was like 'OMG, very painful!' or 'ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!'
when she saw anyone got stabbed in the movie,
then I was the one who kena pinched.

Having diarrhoea today!
Gosh.
Was okay in the morning,
but after the full moon toast and pearl milk tea,
my stomach was stirring like mad.

I was having TITAS test atm.

Couldn't think of any points.
My mind was totally blank.
So I guess my results would probably make me blank too at the end of the semester.

Such a terrifying day.

I had most of my body cells killed today than the whole week.
It's a grandmother story,
so I'll just make it short and sweet for all of your benefit.

Final Destination 4.
That's the culprit of all.
I guess I was just too freaked out by it and it brings me really bad luck,
my entire day went like shit.

First, I spent 9 bucks for the ticket only to cover my eyes most of the time in the cinema.
Second, my middle finger disepit by two bowlings and it aches right now.
Third, I missed the last bus.
Atm, my mind was blank except for two words -
DINOSAUR DUNG.
Shit big time.

Anyway,
was having a great time shopping with Phong BEFORE the movie.
You know what,
I think that was the worst episode of Final Destination.
Nobody in the movie dies with a complete body.
All were like bloody mashed potato and blood and flesh flying everywhere.
Macam meatballs.
No joke.
The storyline is just the same as the previous episodes,
only the ways of death are different
and they are ridiculous to the core, I swear.
Too complicated ways of dying.

Ahhhhhhh. Satisfaction.

Spotted the Qs that was going to be on the test paper 80% correctly.
3 full pages of answers filled with my teeny tiny handwritting.
Lecturer asked me my name after she saw my 3 pages of answers.
It is super windy and has rained throughout the day.
Watched 2 episodes of hongkong drama after lunch.
Took a 2-hours nap and woke up in the dark, due to the raining.
Called mum and knew that she is happy today. :)
Bathed with icy, cold water in rainy evening.
Sit with legs opened wide, typing this to let you guys know how great today is.

What more could I ask for?

Finally completed the drawing of the 20 species of invertebrates!
It took me freaking 2 whole days to finish it,
from morning until the moment I hit the sack.
No kidding.
That lecturer is really mad, man!
This is only our first assignment with her.
Fortunately it is a group work,
so I don't have to draw all 120 and more species all by myself.
I can't imagine how much work we have to do
for she will be our lecturer for the next 5 semesters I guess.

So,
took a break of course,
after 2 bloody days of drawing wo.
Then I saw this on the Big Bang Fansite,
which made me go like WOW.

Have been crazily busy over the weeks

due to assignments and the coming tests and presentations.

The workload is really much,

which makes university life the synonym of INSANITY.

Anyway,

it is the two ikan bilis' 20th birthday.

Both were borned on the same day, went to the same school for 13 years,

and now taking the same course and going to every class together.

Destined to be ikan bilis-s.

Hahaha.

Know how did the name come from?

One of them who loves to give people funny nicknames called me shark

because I am taking Marine Science,

and guess what,

I called her ikan bilis as return because she is in Environmental Science.

Yeah I know it is a tad bit lame,

as long as I have funny names for me to call.

*Evil grin*

So me and the two smelly ikan went for Kenny Roger's after class at 1.
The branch here has nothing different compared to Ipoh branch,

just that they provide a larger portion of side dishes but a smaller chicken.

Yup, weird.

I prefer this way, though.

I always can't finish my Kenny Roger's chicken back in Ipoh,

but today I finished it!

Like a miracle!
