Again.

Second post of the day.

I am bored.
I have piles of assignments and reports awaiting
but I feel like throwing them into the toilet
and flush them all away.
Assignments and reports are boring.

Am waiting for Big Bang's comeback
and I am like waiting for gazillion years already.
Downloaded Girls Generation's new album.
Not bad, but not as good as Gee.
They are attractive girls, undeniably.
I was like repeating their MVs over and over again
because they all look so sweet and innocent.

Housemate went all childish again.
He locked the door
when I was out throwing rubbish into the big rubbish bin by the roadside.
It was so childish I didn't even wanna shout.
I just stand by the door and waited for him to unlock it.
And he was like 'Eh? I thought you would scream like help! help!'
Aha.
Did I mention about his age?
He is 25 this year.

Tomorrow is Monday.
Oh I hate mondays.

I am bored.
Tell me what I can do.

LG chocolate!

Love the series.
Ice cream, lollipop, now chocolate.

Sun sun!

Bought some UV protection products from Guardian today
to fight the evil sunlight and strong UV off.

Got a mysterious gift as it is now promotion.
Guess what Gurdian gave as mysterious gift.

.
4 packets of 'Gurdian Facial Tissues' wtf.

Am gonna try out these products:

I swear this thingie is so cool.
Spray it after sun exposure and smooth in evenly.
It helps to restore your skin's lost moisture,
soothe and protect against premature skin ageing.
I was like WOOT,
then straight away I put it into the shopping basket.
I am so gonna spray it like the way people do it in TV commercials.
Muahahahaha.

Got this only for the sake of trying.
It says I will have lighter skin in 2 weeks time LOL.
Same as what my Garnier whitening lotion says.

Let's see which company is trustworthy.

And THIS.

I wanna recommend this brand
because as a sunscreen/sunblock, it is surprisingly not oily at all.
I am using SPF 25 of this brand for my face
all the while when I am going for outdoor actvities.

I love it so much I couldn't help
but to grab a new bottle at the first glance I saw it.
The one I just got has SPF 50+ PA+++.
This brand is super good cuz it is really, totally, absolutely hydrating.
Unlike:

Trust me.

I think I can be an expert on UV protection very soon.

p/s Fried rice for dinner yay!!!!
p/p/s ILYIHY.

Fark.

Please ask for permission before you touch my phone.

What you did was rude.

I am annoyed, tired, hungry and all sweaty now.
Such a bad day WTF.

Joke.

A coursemate of mine messaged me just a moment ago,
asking me am I a pure Chinese.
I was like OF COURSE LA.
Even though a lot of people mistaken me as a Malay
due to my freaking dark skin tone my mom described as hitam manis.
LOL.
(Love you, mommy!)
Then he said somebody told him both of my parents are Malay
after he/she read my blog.
SWEAT.

I copied that article from an email
as I think it's awesome.
I wanna declare that I, moi, saya, wo, yo, watashi am truly a PURE chinese.
No matter how dark my skin becomes.
Because it is impossible to have chinese parents giving birth to a Malay baby.

p/s Am having sore throat but I had tomyam soup for dinner
because my housemates couldn't finish the food
and asked for help.
I hope I still have my voice tomorrow.
Haha.

p/s/s I am gonna change my blog song to a really noisy one.

Cough cough.

Had seafood fried rice as dinner
and it brought sore throat. Shit.

You smiled to me like a puppy that day.
How pathetic is that.
Stop acting like you still care.
I don't need your hi and how are you.
Your existence spoil my day like a typhoon.
Stay away from me, you bastard.

Not a good day.

Because I saw someone I don't like to see.
LOL.
Complicated.

Went to the hatchery in the uni with the guys today
to get more information for the freaking report.

Guess what,
that huge place really amazed me.
The person in charge brought us around
and patiently explained to us every tiny thing
about the hatchery for almost an hour.
What amazed me was their huge effort to run the hatchery
and the prices of the fishes OMG.
Money rolls in like water, I tell you.

To people who despise the aquaculture industry,
you will have to bang your head to the wall to wake yourself up
because it is such a big business and it is now the top industry in Sabah.
Even I feel like transfering to Aquaculture
because their income will never be less than RM20000 per month.
And don't think it is an easy task to own a hatchery.
It isn't just about rear fishes okay.
All the pipes, the tanks, the filter tanks, water, live feed etc
need to be taken care of really carefully,
because those equipments cost a bomb.
Even the tank alone cost at least RM10000.
RM10000 per tank omg.
Excluding the pipes and tubes somemore.
They even carried out researches '
and successfully produced 4 hybrids in the hatchery,
as the reason of having the hatchery in the uni is for research purposes.
The person in charge proudly told us that
UMS hatchery is the pioneer of producing hybrids of fishes in Malaysia.
Now the whole Malaysia has 7 species of hybrids,
which 4 of them were from UMS. :)

So to those who laughed at us who took Marine Science and Aquaculture,
we will prove to you that these subjects are not rubbish
and a brighter future is awaiting ahead.
Stop thinking that only Accountancy and Medicine and Law can earn money.
This kind of narrow thinking should be left in the 19th century, dude.
Wake up.

Everyday hectic.

Finally the sun showed its face for once.
My jeans is still partially wet though.

I saw a huge fat rat running across the road
when I walked back home today.
Super crazily huge man!
It has the size of a kitten I swear!

I miss home. :(
And my sis and the boyfriend and my crazy friendsssssss.
I wanna party hard during cny!
3 weeks later from now,
I will be on the flight home again. :D
Downloaded tonnes of club hitz
because they remind me of the hometown,
the holiday mood,
relaxing days,
with great friends all around.

I miss the food in Ipoh!
Sabah food sucks big time!!

One great piece.

Both my parents are Malay. My mum's heritage includes Chinese, Thai and Arab, while my dad is Minangkabau. Due to my skin colour, I am often mistaken for a Chinese.

I'm happy that I don't have the typical Malay look but I do get annoyed when people call me Ah Moi or ask me straight up "Are you Chinese or Malay"

Like, why does it matter? Before I used to answer "Malay" but now I'm trying to consciously answer Malaysian instead.

There's this incident from primary school that I remember till today. Someone told me that I will be called last during Judgement Day because I don't have a Muslim name. Of course, I was scared then but now that I'm older, I realise that a name is just a name. It doesn't define you as a good or bad person and there is definitely no such thing as a Muslim name. You can be named Rashid or Ali and still be a Christian.

I've heard of the 1Malaysia concept, but I think we don't need to be told to be united. We've come such a long way that it should already be embedded in our hearts and minds that we are united. Unfortunately, you can still see racial discrimination and polarisation. There is still this ethno-centric view that the Malays are the dominant group and their rights must be protected, and non Malays are forever the outsiders.

For the concept to succeed, I think the government should stop with the race politics. It's tiring, really. We grew up with application forms asking us to tick our race.. We should stop painting a negative image of the other races, stop thinking about 'us' and 'them' and focus on 'we', 'our' and 'Malaysians'.

No one should be made uncomfortable in their own home. A dear Chinese friend of mine said to me once, "I don't feel patriotic because I am not made to feel like Malaysia is my home, and I don't feel an affinity to China because I have never lived there.

I know some baby Nyonya friends who can trace their lineage back hundreds of years. I'm a fourth generation Malaysian. If I am Bumiputra, why can't they be, too? Clearly I have issues with the term.

I think the main reason why we still can't achieve total unity is because of this 'Malay rights' concept. I'd rather 'Malay rights' be replaced by human rights. So unless we get rid of this Bumiputra status, or reform our views and policies on rights, we will never achieve unity.

For my merdeka wish, I'd like for Malaysians to have more voice, to be respected and heard. I wish that the government would uphold the true essence of parliamentary democracy.. I wish for the people to no longer fear and discriminate against each other, to see that we are one and the same.

I wish that Malaysia would truly live up to the tourism spin of Malaysia truly Asia. Malaysians to lead - whatever their ethnic background. Only ONE NATIONALITY MALAYSIAN. No Malays, No Chinese, No Indians - ONLY MALAYSIANS.. Choose whatever religion one is comfortable with.

I am loving the weather.
It has been raining since last night.
The sun was out when I was on my way home after spanish class,
and it is now raining again.
So windy so wet so calming.
Not a single drop of sweat after nap.

I am getting well.
No worries. :)

Muay bien.

Iamsick.

Sore throat cough flu
and now fever.
It is so suffering to be sick when the timetable is so packed.
I walk to IPMB everyday with half-closed eyes and tired legs
every morning for lectures and afternoon for labwork.
And damn it, why did they have to build that place at the farthest end in the uni???

My taste buds are not functioning well.
I have tasteless food everyday and guess what,
last night my Darlie tasted the same as Colgate wtf.
Even my nose was playing tricks on me.
My Garnier body lotion smells like watermelon.
Seriously.

Updates too!

Okay I know I haven't been updating for a while.
Wasn't in the mood to write after I was pulled away from my paradise
and found myself waking up in this shit island the next morning.
Anyway, I am having a new semester
and I vowed to study and strive hard this time
so it won't disappoint me when the result is out.

Sabah is now not that hot
compared to the time when I just reached here as a freshman of my uni.
I am used to the sudden change of the weather.
It can be sunny in the morning
but suddenly it is raining cats and dogs in the afternoon,
then it turns sunny after that,
and the next minute it is cloudy.
My new semester is a crazily hectic one,
I have 3 majors and all of them include lectures, practicals/labwork and tutorials.
So I will have to pass up 3 reports every week,
plus I am also having a computer labwork soon
because programming course is in my syllabus too wtf.
Out of the five working days in a week,
I have to be in the uni from 8a.m. to 5p.m. in four days.
Crazy or not?
Luckily the vitamin C my mom recommended keeps me energetic throughout the day.
Without it I believe I would faint during every of my practicals.

Went to 1Borneo today because I need to buy swimsuit wtf.
I brought one from home which looks something like this,

but then all of us were told by our coach and seniors
to wear something like this during swimming lessons,

because it is more SOPAN.

Crap.

So I spent almost RM100 on the new swimsuit,
went home, phoned my mom
and told her how bloody expensive things are in Sabah.
My heart was bleeding when I paid.
Anyway I have decided to try to save as much as possible
after I saw my dad frowned when we talked about money back at home.
Heartache to see my cute dad frown, you know.
Complained to the 3rd year housemate about the price,
he said "Wah, looks like now you finally insaf."
WHATTTTTT?
My money management so char meh last semester????

Anyhow, went for the super goooooooood tomyam soup in the mall today.
It has got to be the best tomyam soup in Sabah!
So sour, so spicy, OMG I am salivating now!

No pictures because I didn't bring my camera.
Show you guys the soup next time!
OMG I miss the soup!

Super duper love it.
Happy happy.

Oh-so-boring new year eve.

That was me on new year eve.

If you went to Voodoo
you might see this girl standing outside of the club
because she couldn't go in
as she was wearing a frigging tee
with a LARGE spongebob squarepants on it,
short pants and a pair of sandals.

Went for steamboat + bbq at 2plus1 with the boyfriend's friends
whom I am not even close to.
I only heard of their names from the bf.
Saw Logic and his gang of friends
and I swear I am closer to them than to those people I am eating with.
Logic and Munk did come to our table and talked to me.
Only then I got to talk if not I would be sitting there quietly all evening eating.

Wasn't in the mood to go for countdown at first
because I was really bored.
Then after eating friends of the bf wanted to have another round
so they suggested Voodoo as there were fireworks at 0000.
But the problem was
I was wearing tshirt, and worse,
the guys were wearing pants and slippers.
So we stood at the entrance, waited for the time to come,
shouted 321, watched the fireworks and went home.

Such aimless.
It was not even happening there because nobody was shouting and stuff like that.
Everybody just stood there like a wood
and watched fireworks.
I should have followed Logic to Rum.
Sis went to Rum and told me how fun was the night when she got home with a red face.
Arrrrggghhhhhhh.

We should go goyang goyang and shout our lungs out last night at Rum, Li ying!
My first regret in 2010.

Anyway,
Happy 2010, peepo!
Enjoy and appreciate every single minute
and start planning to a great year awaiting ahead! :D

My new year resolution?
Above 3.5 in final exams.
