For the eyes' sake.

Hello peepo.
Lazy to work so I decided to slack for a night
then wake up to a hardworking morning.
Hahahaha.

Planning to wear the nerdy specs to uni from this week onwards.
This is to prevent my course mates getting use to me having fake big eyes,
although I think they actually got used to it already.
I am worried that one day when I am not wearing lens, I will get something like
'Oh, I thought you have big eyes but oh my, they actually have the size of a pea.'
Super cruel can die.
Why I don't have natural big eyes? :(

Another thing is my eyes are getting worse now
after wearing contact lens for a few years.
I started wearing them since lower 6 if I am not mistaken.
Fyi contact lenses absorb the moisture of the eyes,
that is why the eyes will get very dry after 6 to 8 hours.
And the thin layer on the eyes, cornea or watever it is called, will get thinner.
My eyes now are easily tired, and they get dry very fast,
causing tearing and redness.

Hence I have to train myself to wear glasses
although I look less hot without grey or green eyes.
Although I feel less confident when I am wearing glasses.
Although wearing glasses is super inconvenient.
Like I have to make sure the pair of glasses fits so to prevent it to drop into the toilet when I pee.
Like it is impossible to wear shades unless you want to make yourself look funny.

I shall get a stylish spec during CNY.
Hmmmm.

The FAQ recently is 'When are you going back for CNY?'

Everyday I have to answer this Q, like, at least 5 times. Seriously.

People, Yours Truly will be flying back on Friday morning,

so I'll be reaching Ipoh around Friday evening.

I have to spare some time for my family and the hippo.

They booked me for quite some time liao.

Mom told me dad is busy getting all the red lanterns and fake flowers and all

to decorate the house for CNY.

He always get so energetic and bersemangat when CNY is around the corner.

Every year we have to help him to hang this hang that,

and he always insist to leave all the little red lights on at night.

So during every CNY our house is always shining in red.

Can't wait to hop on the flight to KL.

Miss my family, the boyf, the SS crazees, and all the Ipoh kaki.

And I miss my sis' Oreo Cheese Cake!

I cannot have mandarins this year because I am still coughing.

So mui mui, please make the cheese cake mm goi.

If I can get cheese cake I don't need mandarins liao.

Cough cough cough.

Am a sick cat.
Throat is now a warm and cozy habitat for the bacteria.
They have replicated so vigorously
now my throat hurts again.
Fingers crossed so that the honey cubes could do wonder again.

Talking about wonders.
The Hada Labo shiat is doing great wonders.
Pores are shrinking, pimples are vanishing,
scars and dark spots are ebbing, and me is happy.
And the L'oreal hair jelly thingy makes my hair so smooth a fly could slip.
Hiak hiak hiak.
And I got compliments from the course mates about the hair and the skin.
I doubt they have really seen good skin with zero obvious pores
because my skin only look good from afar. LOL.

It was Dr. Michael's last lecture today.
I am sad. :(
The next lecturer of the subject will be Dr. Julien
and I hope he is as awesome as Dr. Michael. :/

p/s/s  The roommate is bringing me for Korean food tomorrow
and I have this kimchi soup and spicy rice cake cravings,
but I cannot eat because of the replicating bacteria in my throat.
Damn depressing lo.

I felt like a sponge in class today.

Am totally in love with Dr. Michael Wong
who teaches my class Marine Biotech.
He makes the subject sounds so freaking interesting.
Even the things he said were just some basic stuff
like introducing the features of bacteria.

Lecturers are already talking about FYP in class a lot.
FYP = final year project.
I shall think of an interesting title as soon as possible
before anyone in my class snatch my title
and leave me some boring stuff like algae. Lol.
Anyway, I'll most probably do something that is related to meteorology or marine biotech.
Dealing with hurricanes and bacteria sound cool right?
Hehehe.

Went for Kenny Roger's R.E.D day today.

iPod里只放了我爱听的。
除了韩国歌外，就只有一些很旧的华语歌，
和一小部分的英文流行曲。
多亏身边一班常约我唱k的猪朋狗友，
我才有机会听到一些新的华文流行曲。

Fussssssssss.

Classes officially started today.

Had 3 killing subjects in a row from 8am to 4pm,

with only an hour break in between.

Today was so boringggggg.

Can't we have more interesting subjects 

like ways to observe the emotions of fishes

or the diameter of fish eggs?

I know the diameter thing is boring

but nothing can beat environmental law and ethics when it comes to the degrees of boredom.

Well. Appear to be not good for my skin at all.

Misjudged them wtf.

Especially the Bio-essence.

Maybe they are too strong for my skin.

Made my skin so dry 

and the pores all cried for water so much they opened their mouths so big until so visible.

LOL I sound insane.

So I changed my moisturizer (again) to

to feed my darling pores.

Similar to Juju.

But not as GAO as Juju.

For me, Juju is too moisturizing to be used in a humid country like Msia.

This Hada Labo Gokujyun is just fine.

Moisturizing and at the same time it is absorbed into the skin pretty fast.

I am not going to say it is the best moisturizer I've ever gotten, YET,

because I think after I'd said that when I got the two lousy moisturizers,

it kind of became a jinx.

Maybe my pores were like 'OH GOSH. PLEASE LA.' 

then forgot to close their mouths,

so they became this large and loud.

Erm, excuse me.

Am still pai seh to use the iPod in the public

because I still haven't gotten a case yet

and now it is wrapped with a transparent, plastic, erm, book wrapper. Kind of.

F I N A L L Y.

Went to look for a nice case at 1B 

but ALL the cases are sold out wtf.

Wasted my time and petrol

and ended up getting a shower cap and tired legs.

It is so hard to look at the things that you like

when you know you can't have them.

It is even harder when you already have something you've been eyeing on,

but you can't use it.

Under quite some considerations I decided to ignore everything,

things like getting my fingerprints all over the screen

or getting scratches on the silver metal,

and I irrationally unboxed it in the morning after my breakfast.

Today is totally my pod pod's day.

BIG DAY!

I did the laundry, cooked my own lunch,

went for grocery shopping, went to course mate's place to chill.

Besides all the time doing the activities above,

all my time I used it on playing with pod pod.

I shall enjoy the next 2 days to the max

because from Monday onwards,

I will be as busy as a donkey again.

Confirmed. Not an assumption.

Damn tutorials take away all my free time. 

Almost everyday I have to work until 5pm, at least.

Do I even have time for my revisions and assignments?

OMG.

Cloudy Wednesday.

Yayyyyy me is in my second house now.

The wireless connection here sucks

but I shouldn't complain because I am lucky 

compared to those people living in the hostel who don't get to go online.

Flew back yesterday morning 

and the weather was good.

Cloudless.

Actually it was my most cloudless flying day.

And I could see the sceneries so clearly.

Watching down from a plane, 

KL is like a HD version of Google map.

And the houses are all like the the tiny fake houses of Monopoly.

Didn't take photos of those because I was shy to take my cam out.

The guy sitting beside me kept staring out to the window

and it was sinful to block his view.

I love to watch the thin shoreline of Sabah from above.

And guys, try to watch the waves

if you happen to fly past a beach.

The waves move in an extremely slow motion.

Maybe it is because the plane moves faster than the waves?

Interesting.

This book kept me company throughout the flight.

Awesome awesome book.

It should be listed as a literature.

Finally got it.

like the brown bag and some new flats, clothes and books.

New things, fresh start.

Hello 2011.

Hey. Sorry guys,
for not updating the blog as frequently as I used to.
And for disappearing on New Year Eve and the first day of 2011.
I should be here writing my new year resolutions.
But this has proven that I am not a lifeless social-media nerd.
Hehehehe.

I had the most normal and usual new year celebration
and wasn't even in nice dress and makeup on the last day of 2010 and the 1st day of 2011.

Spent my NYE with the crazy SS gang
eating crazily yummy food, drinking crazily sweet drink,
and watching performances of Korean bands like crazy.
We even talked about crazy things like poops and farts.

Everything was home-made. *proud*

I guess the word 'crazy' will never leave when the 7 of us are together.
We do things that everyone does when they are with friends,
but with them around I'll never get bored doing the most usual stuff.

Spent the first night of 2011 in my uncle's house in TI.
Mom da bao fried noodles and satay
and the famous, the yummiest chee cheong fun in West Msia.
No pics because I was too hungry
and I was busy eating.
The food was too tempting.
BTW I am growing horizontally.
Really got to get a diet plan or else I will no longer be the skinniest Guek.
OK that goes into my resolution list.

Never seen the boyf for like 3 days.
He was sick so he stayed at home on NYE
with his drama and mucus.

Am leaving this place on the 5th.
Btw I'll update the blog less
because I have 6 majors and 2 minors waiting for me in the coming semester
but I'll have my ITouch very very very soon!
