A short one

As usual, went to grandma's house at day 2. Had a warm and enjoyable reunion steamboat dinner and stayed overnight at uncle's new house. My uncle's place is really amazing. He built it like a resort, plus they have this big TV which I forgot how many inches is the screen and a great hi-fi system. Had so much fun that night with cousins. We sang and danced and fooled around even though all of us were darn tired. Haha.

This young girl is so into pink lately.

It loves my toenails.

And this pair loves his shirt. Haha.

Stayed over at Gack's place the next day. A nice movie to be recommended to you. Now I know the real meaning of biatch. LOLx.

Chinese new year celebration this year is so much different from the previous years. Our family do not get to truly celebrate due to my grandpa who went above to meet up with my grandma not long ago. So, no reunion dinner with the paternal relatives and no angpou from my parents. NO ANGPOU. We got our 'pocket money', though. Haha.

Sis couldn't endure rotting at home, so both of us went shopping at Parade. Ended up buying new clothes for myself again, and camwhored in a dressing room in Parkson. Boring day 1.

Watched Lady First at TVBS Asia, and they introduced a product that I am using right now. Hohohoho. Finally I am using the right product for myself. Some more I bought it without my mum guiding me. Usually it is my mum who buy all those skin and hair care for my sis and I. So so so excited when I saw the beautician holding it and explaining its functions just now. I wanted to go 'I got this thing, I got this thing!', but there was only me and my dad at home. So... yea.

This is the one I am talking about.

Garnier Eye Roll-On

Discovered this in JJ Watson. It is Garnier's new product enriched with caffeine and Pro-vitamin B5, with roll-on which stimulates blood circulation to hydrate your eyes. It says 'anti dark circle' and 'anti puffiness', it was during a promotion or something AND it's Garnier, so I bought it together with my facial mask. Haha. Since I just got money from my mum and my dark circles were getting serious due to so many nights of staying up late. Urgh. But then my dark circles problem is not solved yet. It does help in reducing puffiness, though.

Hehe. I am not trying to promote this thingy ok? Just to share. And to tell that I am happy! Buahaha. It feels like I've found a new island. Bahhh. Ignore me.

Great Recipe for a Life

Watching the latest season of America's Next Top Model, and get to know that the sharp-tongued Janice Dickinson has been replaced by another supermodel, Paulina Porizkova. It is not clear whether Janice Dickinson quit or being kicked out. Was kind of shocked when Tyra Banks introduced the new judge though. ANTM would not be as interesting as the last few seasons without her, I think. She is like the ANTM's Simon Cowell. Haha. Ohhhh. No more withering criticism. I will miss those fights between her and Tyra Banks. Bahhhhh.

I realise that one doesn't have to be good looking to become a supermodel. Only a few are pretty among all the contestants. It is your body, attitude, passion and potential that makes you a supermodel. Those stunning pictures depend a lot on makeup and lighting. A LOT.

Yea. Have my eyes glued on the TV a lot lately. From one channel to another and to another for the whole day. Too bad I couldn't buy materials for my knitting because the lady selling them shut her shop. Yes, zap lap. So sad. I used to buy needles and and thread from her when I needed them for my KH in Form 4 and 5. That's why my knitting plan is cut from my things-to-do-to-kill-time list. Now what I need are recipe, hair care and face care products, and of course, more clothessssssss. Clothes are never enough for me. Haha. Gonna polish myself for lunar new year. Teehee.

I miss this piece like crazy!!!

Everyday is not a new day.

Today is just the routine of yesterday. My activities are fixed every single day. I know I am totally able to make everyday different, but there is nothing much to do when you are trapped in your house and your garage is empty. Yes. I am living pathetically, with only my TV, laptop, comic books and novels in the house.

The first thing to do when I open my eyes in the morning, after cleaning myself, is sweeping and mopping the floor. Downstairs and upstairs. It is exhausting. I am slowly getting used to it though. Just treat it as a workout, it helps to shape my body, right? Hehe. So I can skip the sit-up before bedtime. After cleaning the house it is my brunch time. Food in my hand and eyes on the TV. Reading is next before I collect clothes. I hate to collect clothes so much, as I have to get out of my house, when the rotting smell is still there. So sickening that I have to hold my breath. Then I take my nap, bathe, dinner time, pc, TV again, after that hit the sack.

Boring, isn't it? I guess I am turning into a typical housewife REAL soon. Housewife! At this age! Omg. It would be so nice if I have my own car, then I would probably be all day out loitering. Sigh.

Maybe I should learn cooking and instead of sticking my butt on the couch for the whole day. I don't want to have bread and biscuits as my lunch anymore. Of course it will be after the terrible smell has gone. I want to kill my time beneficially. Hmm. Knitting, perhaps? LOLx.

Not a bad idea right?

A BIG cross for forensic science!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

There are maggots outside my kitchen!!!!! Totally disgusting. YUCKS. Luckily they were outside the house. Ish. My mum suspected earlier on that something, perhaps a rat or lizard is dead because there is a terrible smell since yesterday. She searched through the place but couldn't find any dead animal or insect. So we just shrugged it off, thought maybe it's just because of the dog next door. THEN, this morning when I was going to wash my plate after brunch, I opened the door, squatted down to reach the rubbish bin, there I saw about 15 maggots right in front of me and was so near. Ahhhhhh!!!!! So disgusting.

Now the place has been cleaned up by my parents. All the maggots are probably in the drain now. HAHAHAHA. Out out out of my house!

I wanna work at MPH!!!!!!!

Went for job hunting in JJ this afternoon.

I wanna work at MPH I wanna work at MPH I wanna work at MPH!!!!! The working environment is the best among the rest. The dim yellow light and soft music make it so comfortable and warm, it's like being in a nice library with all the good books around you. Nice nice. I would definitely take that job even if the salary is low or there is a must to wear uniform. Anyway, saw Danis in MPH applying for job too. Haha.

Food & Tea is another great spot. I smelt coffee the moment I stepped into the restaurant. The supervisor was funny. He thought HockPeng and I were couple, and I was like HUH?? Do we look like one? Oh my god. Haha.

Watched Ip Man today. I always laughed at the name and pronounced it as 'IP Man', I didn't know it is such a nice kungfu movie. The movie has action, romance, friendship, humour and it made me CRY. Urghh. And I drop one side of my contact lens so I have no choice but to take off another one. Rugi lens for a month again.

A very nice movie. 7 out of 10.

Everyone is so BLUEISH.

Visited my darling sis in Kuala Kangsar today.

My mum couldn't wait any longer so we went out pretty early to get all the stuff for my sis. The scenery along the highway was so beautiful and lush. More beautiful than any highway in Malaysia I bet. Kem Desa Rimba is not bad. It looks very new as it has only been used as a campsite for a year. My sis' batch was the second batch having training there. Nice scenery. There is a nice pond, the place is kind of in the middle of the forest, but one very very big problem is, the place is superbly extremely oh-my-god-ly very H-O-T. There are only a few trees in a big area like that, although it is surrounded by THOUSANDS of trees. Sweat.

My sis seemed so mature and grown up when she walked out in her blue shirt, although she has been there only for a week, besides looked healthier and my mum said fatter. Haha. And she is a big eater as usual. Took DimSum, sushi and BAkKutTeh cause she said she miss pork. LOLx.

Life in the camp seems fun. She said they are like 'Gam Dan', especially when they queue for their food, all wearing the same blue uniform. And her funny instructor. And of course her crazy roommates. Craziness is contagious, especially when you are with my sis.




She will be back for an appointment with her dentist next week. Kenny Rogers, I promised.

It's so nice to have you

HAPPY 2009!


Went countdown at Genting on the 31st of December. It was such a bliss watching fireworks in a cool and windy place with buddies by my side. Watching those beautiful fireworks shot up to the sky, pictures of my Form Six life kept popping up in my mind. And my family. Especially my sis, who called back home just now telling me how dull NS life is.

Flashback to 2008, it has been a busy and emotional and stressful and memorable year for me. I learned to stand up from failure, to try my best even though there is so little hope, and to love. Hope 2009 is a better one. And God, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't let my nightmares come true. That thin paper decides my future.

Stayed overnight at Yean's place. Only four of us know how long we have chatted last night and only I know how puffy and scary my eyes got.



I need three months to replace my lost sleeping time. Urgh.
