My first time to the Kota Kinabalu town today. :)

Had duck + char siew rice as lunch!
Hahahahaha.
That was the best meal I've taken so far since I got here.
The char siew sauce,
was so omg-ly and heavenly delicious.
I am quite sure I will be back for it next week.
It is such a torture having all those Malay meals EVERYDAY in the uni,
and you can never imagine the sort of feeling when you have to stuff them into your mouth
despite how sucky they are,
as there are no more choices around,
and you don't want to have gastric in the middle of the night.
Now I know the true power of pork,
powerful enough to make me move my lazy arse
and wait for the bus to go to the town.

Went to several malls in the afternoon,
as all the malls are kind of near to each other.
The malls here are a lot like the Yik Foong in Ipoh,
only Warisan Square and 1Borneo are something like The Pavillion in KL.
Very extreme right?
I heard one of my roommates saying that Sabah is the poorest states in Malaysia.
But this is almost impossible!
Seeing that the prices of the goods and food here are all so high,
almost double the price in Ipoh!
How come their people are poor???
I have to find it out why is this thing happening.
So bizzarre.

Got ourselves new furniture for our new room. :)
It is so fun to shop for furniture!
We were like I want this, I want this too, I want that.
Spent nearly rm1000 on 2 tilam, 2 chairs, a bolster and a closet.
Would be getting study tables and a water purifier next week!
LOL.

Gotta go back to the reality later. :(
I hate the hostel room.
Did I mention there's a mouse in our room?
Yes!
I think mouses and I have some sort of fate or destiny somehow.
Everywhere I go, there are mouses.
Now I am not scared of them anymore.
I scream, just to scare them, and smirk when I have successfully done so.
Really.

Assignments are driving me up the wall.
Grrrrrrrrrr.
Why do lecturers like to give us group assginments??
The worse is they want every member in a group to be of different etnic
and from different parts of Malaysia,
because they claimed that UMS is 1Malaysia.
Bullshit.

Am going to move out from hostel very very soon.
Soh Chien and I found a decent house,
which is really neat and clean and near to the bus stop.
We are going to clean our room and get some nice furniture this coming Saturday.
So Soh Chien will be my roommate for 3 years from now. :)
Can't wait to finally cook our own meals and watch TV!

I haven't see or touch this thing called TV for 3 weeks!
For heaven's sake!
And Youtube too.
The stupid UMS wireless system blocked Youtube and MSN.
Imagine 3 weeks without MSN and Youtube.
Can die right on the spot right???

Boyfriend went to Singapore, finally.
I know,
it is hard,
being separated and both of us in totally different environment and places
might tear us apart, as easy as blinking,
because distance is a notorious relationship killer.
Anyway,
wish for the best and prepare for the worse.

Anticipation

Despite all the unhappy and disappointing things going on around in the university,
Harry Potter is finally showing in the cinema!
Oh gosh.
Might be watching it on Sunday,
to release stress and all.
Thank god, GSC in 1Borneo is nothing like the one in Parade.
GSC in Ipoh is simply lap sap!
LOL.

Can't wait!

I am not happy here.

I will be dormant for quite some time.

Need time to get used to this new environment,
piling assignments and sucky system in UMS.
Just so you know,
emo-ness has somehow became my best friend right now.
So I won't be blogging so often until the old and usual me return.

And to the blardy 889 miles that set us apart,
you can't beat me down.

Diarrhoea!

It is just the first week of the first semester in UMS,
I have already 2 assignments on Biological Oceanography and TITAS,
and I believe there are still plenty awaiting ahead.
Oh my god god god.

Last night after my night class,
I went to the canteen and had a cup of nice, hot Horlicks before I went back to my room.
Then things happened this morning.
I kept rushing to the toilet,
and pity my tissues,
they were being used up so fast.
In a blink of an eye my tissues were all gone.
LOL.

Shit.
I'd better go do my homework now.
I am still at question 1.
19 more to go, man!
Grrrr.

Omfg.
The indian sitting at the next pc is viewing webpages the lecturer gave us today.
While all 6 of us are all still in facebook.
WTH.

First lessons :)

Currently typing inside the library.
There are so many handsome guys at the counter!
Woohoo!!
LOL.

Had my first lesson this morning at Dewan Kuliah Pusat.
Earth Science and Planets.
The DKP is a really big area as well!
Walked around and asked for directions for like 15 minutes.
Lecture was boring.
Mr. Sahat, our lecturer for the course,
merely showed us the syllabus and explained to us about what we need to study,
and it took 2 hours.
Imagine how wide the syllabus is.
We need to complete all that in one sem!
Arghhhh.
Gan jeong nya!

The first lesson of Ethic & Professionalisme after that.
The lecturer wanted us to introduce ourselves on the stage.
This is the part that I hate to the core.
So sien.
Except a part where a Malay guy of my course intro himself.
He already looks weird with his eyebrows,
no, it should be eyebrow,
because the left and the right side of his eyebrow are connected,
made it a straight black worm-like brow.
Guess what.
His name is Faqmi.
Everyone laughed so hard because it sounds so much like F me.
HAHAHAHA.

Finally.

I AM BACK.

Yea yea yea,
pretty obviously my blog is dead last week.
I was shit busy during orientation week.
Plus there's no wireless or wifi service at my hostel area.
And we gotta register for a pin number to use wireless in the university
which I haven't do so because the registration can only be done started from next week at the library,
which is damn far from my hostel,
because UMS is a terribly big place!
AND during orientation week,
they want us to walk from our hostel to the Dewan Canselor,
which they claimed that dewan is the most beautiful and unique and the largest in South East Asia.

My toes were all injured from all the crazy walking,
and I believe you can see me having a pair of muscular legs during my sem break.
Oh ya!
I am going back to Ipoh in August.
Only for a week.
But that's enough. :D
I miss my bedroom so so so so so undescribably much!

Will write about the orientation later k.
Too many things happened during that week.
Now I gotta go update myself with your guys' blogs. :)
